Pierre Gasly is a French racing driver who was born on February 7, 1996 in Rouen, France who currently competes in Formula One for the Scuderia AlphaTauri team.

Gasly began his racing career in karting, and later moved on to compete in various single-seater series, including Formula Renault, Formula Three, and GP2 (now known as Formula 2).

He made his Formula One debut in 2017 with the Toro Rosso team (now known as AlphaTauri), and later joined Red Bull Racing in 2019. However, he was demoted back to AlphaTauri mid-season due to performance issues.

In 2020, Gasly had a breakthrough season with AlphaTauri, achieving his first career victory at the Italian Grand Prix, where he became the first French driver to win a Grand Prix since Olivier Panis in 1996. He also scored several other podium finishes throughout the season, and finished the season in 10th place in the drivers’ championship.

Gasly is known for his aggressive driving style and his ability to extract the maximum performance from his car. He is highly regarded within the Formula One paddock for his talent and work ethic, and is seen as one of the rising stars of the sport.
